Subscriptions

The subscription per young person is £60 per term and becomes due at the beginning of each term. Payment can be made using either:

• Bank Transfer (Faster Payment)
• using OSM by GoCardless

We prefer payments by bank transfer as that reduces our running costs (no fees deducted by OSM & GoCardless, so more money available to spend on activities). In either case, prompt payment when requested is very much appreciated.

Capitation

In addition to termly fees, there is an annual “capitation” charge levied by the Scouts Association as a membership fee and is used for the funding of central services used by all groups. We collect this payment but none of this money funds the group directly.

Camps & Events

These are optional activities. Costs vary depending on the activity, however all are planned with the aim to break even on the cost of the activity.
