Our Cub Pack…
Cubs is open to all children from the ages of 8 to 10½.
Whether your child loves getting outdoors, making things, or just wants to make new friends — there’s something for everyone in Cubs.
Cubs meet in groups called Packs, with each Pack split into smaller teams called Sixes. At 1st Stanmore, we meet every Wednesday from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
As well as weekly pack nights, Cubs get to enjoy trips and days out — from zoo visits and theme parks to camping under the stars.

Cub Promise & Law
Since the publication of Scouting for Boys in 1908, all Scouts around the world have taken a promise to live up to ideals of the movement, and subscribed to a Scout Law. The Cub Scout promise is very similar to the Scout promise, however a few words have been simplified:
The Cub Scout Promise
I promise that I will do my best
To do my duty to God and to the King
To help other people
And to keep the Cub Scout Law
The Cub Scout Law
Cub Scouts always do their best
Think of others before themselves
And do a good turn every day
Volunteer with us
We’re always looking for adult volunteers — and it’s more rewarding than you might think. Scouting’s mission is to help young people achieve their full potential as individuals and as members of their local, national and international communities.
Roles range from committee members and parent helpers to uniformed leaders. It doesn’t matter how much time you can give — every contribution makes a difference.
