1st Stanmore has been running since 1994, giving young people aged 6-14 the chance to try things they’d never do otherwise – from kayaking on open water to camping in the woods, cooking on a fire to earning badges through new skills and challenges. We currently have a membership of over 60 young people, ages 6-14, from Stanmore and the surrounding areas.
Our leaders are all local volunteers who genuinely love what they do. We run weekly meetings across three sections in Stanmore, and every year we take young people further afield – including international trips like our upcoming Haarlem Jamborette in 2027.
We’re open to all young people regardless of background or faith. And if you’d like to get involved as an adult, we’d love to hear from you too!
